Who we are

Known Space is an AI-visibility audit product built and operated by Networks & Nodes. This policy applies to the Known Space website, free scans, paid Full-Space Scans, private reports, support, and related communications. Questions can be sent to hello@knownspace.space.

Information we collect

• Business information: details submitted for a scan, such as a business name, website, category, market, and public contact or action paths.
• Customer information: a delivery email, consent choices, verification events, support messages, and a customer-safe support reference.
• Scan information: approved questions, provider responses, citations, classifications, scores, report content, and operational status.
• Payment information: transaction status, amount, currency, receipt email, and Stripe identifiers. Known Space does not receive or store complete card numbers.
• Security and technical information: request timing, limited network or abuse-prevention data, device or browser signals, security-challenge results, and safe operational error codes.

How we use information

We use information to:

• verify a delivery address and authorize a requested scan;
• run the selected AI-visibility checks and generate a private report;
• process payments, issue receipts, administer paid access, and review refunds;
• deliver transactional email and respond to customer support;
• protect the service from abuse, duplicate work, fraud, and unauthorized report access;
• maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of Known Space; and
• comply with legal, accounting, card-network, and dispute-handling obligations.

Transactional report delivery does not subscribe you to marketing. Marketing messages are sent only when a separate opt-in is collected and remains active.

AI providers and prompt boundaries

Known Space may send approved business facts and fixed customer-search questions to OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), and Perplexity to perform the checks described before purchase. Provider availability depends on the selected product and the status of each service.

The private delivery email and payment-card details are not included in AI-provider prompts. Provider responses may contain public-web information about the submitted business and are evaluated to create the report.

Service providers

We use service providers for limited operational purposes, including:

• Stripe for Checkout, payment processing, fraud controls, and receipts;
• Vercel for website and server hosting;
• Supabase for restricted database and private report storage;
• Resend for verification and report-delivery email;
• Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse and automated-traffic protection; and
• OpenAI, Anthropic, and Perplexity for the AI observations included in the selected scan.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and browser storage

Known Space uses essential, secure cookies to authorize private progress and report pages. Session storage may temporarily preserve form progress or transfer a single-use verification or report capability within your browser. Stripe and Cloudflare may use their own essential technologies for payment security, fraud prevention, and bot detection.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, support, accounting, and legal obligations. Current operating targets include:

• unverified intake is generally removed shortly after verification expires;
• free raw scan evidence and private report access are generally retained for 30 days unless a support, security, or legal hold applies;
• email-delivery metadata is generally retained for 90 days;
• consent and redacted audit evidence may be retained for up to 24 months; and
• payment, refund, tax, and accounting records may be kept longer when required by law, Stripe, card networks, or legitimate dispute-handling needs.

Backups and service-provider copies may age out on different schedules.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of certain personal information, or to withdraw a marketing consent. Email hello@knownspace.space to make a request. We may verify that you control the delivery address or a current private capability before disclosing or deleting data. Some records may be retained when legally required or needed to establish, exercise, or defend claims.

Security and international processing

Known Space uses access controls, encrypted transport, private storage, redacted logging, expiring capabilities, and data minimization. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

Children and changes

Known Space is a business service and is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. A revised effective date will be posted here. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
